This is a collaborative record between Los Angeles based record label Good Society and Lyon, France based label Retro Jungle Records (@retrojungle). This once in a lifetime project brings together many of our generation's most notable beat scene creators such as The Kount, Rob Araujo, Kaelin Ellis, and Louis Futon, with a cross generational touch in featuring Matt Johnson the keyboardist of Jamiroquai.

This compilation album is a leading case in which artists who are all actively creating a massive impact on today’s Hip Hop/ Funk scene are being brought together to create a punchy, groovy, boom bap powerhouse. THE HEIST has seen its full release on all digital platforms as well as a special edition released on vinyl in extremely limited supply. Today we bring you the very first single "Voyagers" from the project called "Goodbye Planet" a very futuristic exploration of CYGN's music! During a very inspired 3AM studio session, CYGN channeled the likes of Kaytranada and DaM Funk. Leading him to craft a perfect Summer hit with a very 80's funk vibe. While inspired by the classics he still managed to put his futuristic spin to the music. As the track takes off with a broken groove it soon evolves into an enthralling melody made of tasteful vocals and synth chords. Created in one night session the song captures the spirit of Summer. That fleeting and nostalgic feeling that often is gone too soon almost even before it starts.

Unwind Project, the Italian duo is back with an incredible new song featuring German producer Lazlow. For months they sent ideas and recordings back and forth and this tune is the result of a perfect blend between the styles of each producer. Pomelo was titled after the fruit as it symbolizes a refreshing sound for the summer days. The idea came from a beautiful jazzy piano line that the musicians built upon, adding inspiring keys and guitar solos complimented by joyful back vocals. Sending lots of sweet, innocent and hopeful vibes to the listener.
