Featuring the vocal talents of Loleatta Holloway via her classic 80’s disco jam ‘Love Sensation’, Pirate Jams debut on Klub Kids with ‘Sweets from Heaven’, a stellar house and breaks hybrid that is 110% guaranteed to fill your dancefloors. And what a remix pack! First up comes man of the moment Jolyon Petch with an amazing piano driven deep house rework (anthem alert!), as well as a deeper late night recut that’s headed straight for the deeper late night floors. Next up comes label boss Kid Kenobi with an absolutely stonking ‘future breaks’ remix set to destroy dancefloors and bassbins alike (breaks are back baby!). Third up comes Bristolian house producer Rektchordz with a chuggy as f@#k tech house rethink that is oh so dope and oh so ‘now’ (that ‘big’ moment in the middle is especially fresh). And last up, but by no means least up, comes Aussie born, Swedish based, trap and bass producer Drops who ‘drops’ an absolutely amazing future bass remix on our asses (totally nailed). This EP marks the END of Moshington. I have come to realize that I was meant to bring far more influential music to this world. I no longer want to partake in the EDM rat race and be another pawn in this oversaturated industry hungry to fill stadium seats rather than support timeless art. it is time to move on to far greater projects.

After finding out this was Pauline's first session she brought up an idea she had made before coming over as something to start with. She had already written this song from her perspective talking about being nervous about a significant other and what they were doing behind her back.

We started in the afternoon and wrote out the entire first half of the song together - we stopped to get poké and came back to write the second half. I thought it could be cool to write the second half from the other perspective. Pauline suggested I sing the second half to bring that idea to life even more to which I definitely said no, but after a bit of convincing and Pauline telling me I sounded somewhat like Eden I said fuck it and started recording.

By 3am the song had been finished, front to back in just over 12 hours.

The contrast between both vocals and combining them to resolve the story as a duet makes this song special. I remember both of us listening to it multiple times a day after it was finished and both being ecstatic about it.

Pauline is such an incredible singer/songwriter but also producer - She's the majority of the reason I even sound half decent while singing and tons of other changes throughout the song that made it feel right. We we're swapping off my PC multiple times an hour going back and forth when either of us had an idea to add. We almost ended up losing the project at one point and named an audio channel "FLUT THIG" that ended up becoming the first name of the demo and the inside joke between the two of us.

Thank you for being a part of this EP and helping create a song that I will stand by forever. FLUT THIGGGGGGGG
