Remix of 90s Uzbek hiphop song "Bombosh kochalar" by Al Vakil, a popular hiphop band, maybe one of the first hiphop bands in Central Asia. Tribute to my central asian roots, especially Uzbek as I grew up in Fergana region hearing Uzbek music and love to old school hiphop.

A set prepared for celebration of Nooruz spring equinox, new year holiday in Persian and turkic cultures including Central Asia. This year I played in two Nooruz themed parties, in SWANA centered party "Temple of" in Prague and "Shared Resiliens" organised by Feminist Translocalities in Berlin. 

This set is a musical journey from roots of Central Asia & dark corners of my mind with heavy dub and jungle tracks, to liberating anger with exhilirating hardcore jungle and drum and bass tracks, to finally the light with enchanting jungle and breakbeat tracks.

One of my favourite genres in music is hiphop, especially I love my sassy female (FLINTA) rappers who teach me confidence, audacity and grit. Unfortunately there are no any central asian female rap artist that inspires me, but our music definitely can be used in hiphop genre too. Here is the proof, enjoy!

Lately I have been nostalgic about trip hop. Here I present you little remix that I have made, Trip Hop absolute classic Inertia Creeps by Massive Attack with absolute banger Drip by Mokhtar, and top of the cherry my favourite soviet post punk legend Victor Tsoy's "Mi hotim tancevat", we want to dance. "It goes, we are born with wounds in our hearts, and where is the tailor who can sew them? So what that we are wierdos? We will dance before you completely destroy this world."

Continuing to experiment with music that connects to my roots. Healing is coming back to yourself. As I was young, I was brainwashed to dislike what my parents, grandparents liked to listen thinking kyrgyz music was lame. Actually I was avoiding the pain of my family that Kyrgyz music contained. It is often melancholic and I carry this trauma with me. I am very sad all my grandparents passed away already and now I can't connect to the wisdoms that they carried. I used to think that since my grandparents were just pastors they were uneducated and couldn't teach me anything, but who put those thought seeds? But I believe knowledge doesn't dissapear, it is in the real of other worlds, that music can connect us to.

Berlin & Hamburg based central asian dj GOOSINDRA is bridging worlds of her multifaceted identity of being neurodivergant & central asian queer feminist in radically soft & unapologetically non confirming punk way. 

This manifests in trippy sets that take one to inner journeys to get in touch with feelings that were casted away to the shadow by the oppressor; & shake the mental chains off to the hardcore breaky drums & sassy hip-hop samples.

As her first raves were drum & bass parties in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, she is loyal adept to the jungle movement. GOOSINDRA is organizing bass centered parties with FLINTAs to the front principle in Hamburg and Berlin. Co-founder of Slaystans & member of A---ZN.
