Dirty Grooves 015 - November Show 2022 - Saturo Sounds Radio

La simbiosis de este dúo tiene su origen en la niñez. A medida que fueron creciendo
juntos comenzaron a compartir diversas experiencias musicales en bandas de rock y
pop, donde Andrés se destacaba en la guitarra eléctrica y Mauricio en la batería
acústica. Poco años más tarde, ambos continuaron sus estudios, pero esta vez
eligiendo el piano y el sintetizador como instrumento principal de producción, dando
lugar a la creación del conjunto de música electrónica “Oliver & Tom”.

Éstos dos productores argentinos encontraron su camino al Progressive House en el
año 2017 firmando sus primeras canciones en la famosa y muy prestigiosa discográfica
“The Soundgarden. Además de lanzar en varios sellos, también tienen su propio podcast mensual llamado "Dreams of Light".
Oliver & Tom crea una alternativa musical y un sonido propio que busca seguir en el
más alto nivel del Progressive House así que estén atentos a sus futuros lanzamientos.

Born in Beirut/Lebanon. At the age of 14 he developed a passion towards music through listening to different genres. That passion pushed him into the nightlife scene where he used to sneak into electronic music events at an early age. Electronic music was his ultimate guide for the future plans as a career or even as an escape. Mainly inspired by the surrounding daily sounds, he’s always into collecting sounds & sampling to use them in his tracks, especially ambient & organic sounds. Goos brings a distinctive energy to the floor. His sound ranges from intricate melodies to chunky basslines, often inspired by earthy tones from around the world. 

Goos was born in Doha, Qatar to musically inclined parents who introduced him to rock music at a very young age. This early onset of music led to a gamut of musical influences in his life ranging from Led Zeppelin, The Doors and Pink Floyd. His deep-seated love for percussion instruments led Goos on a pursuit to learn the Mridangam. This subsequently enabled him to also take up drumming, giving him a well-rounded understanding of percussion. Goos discovered his passion for dance music through the unique sounds of Eric Prydz and Roger Sanchez. 

Goos hosted his own showcase at the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) in 2018 titled Journey on Tour presenting artists from around the world. Goos has played alongside international artists such as Marsh, Roy Rosenfeld, Jody Wisternoff, Eelke Kleijn, Sebastien Leger, Lane 8, Yotto, Ben Bohmer, Dee Montero, Tinlicker, Kora, Denis Horvat, Theo Kottis, Joseph Ashworth, Roger Martinez and Dousk to name a few. Goos has also played at Echoes of Earth, Satellite Beachside and Krank festivals in Goa, Go:Madras in Chennai alongside many local acts apart from artists from the Anjunadeep roster.

Goos was picked as one of ten rising DJ’s worldwide by Pioneer DJ for their Kuvo service. This was heard and reviewed by Daisuke Ito, a long time contributor to club and culture publications including Resident Advisor. Goos’ sets have been featured on When We Dip, Deeper Sounds (Cafe Mambo Ibiza, British Airways, Emirates), Sonne, Strand und Meer, The Deep Room Everything will be OK (UK), to name a few.

His fortnightly podcast ‘Journey’ showcases the full range of sounds of this versatile artist apart from a rotating roster of guests.
