Priya is a regular contributor writer and music reviewer for music magazines - Decoded (UK), Underground Tel Aviv, Frisky Radio; She is based out of Mumbai, India. 
She's also a former night club programmer, blogger, and she has added another dimension to her artistry as a DJ, covering the spectrum of Deep Tech, Progressive House and Melodic Techno at some of the most prolific hot spots and electronic dance music nights that celebrate the underground. 
She is one of the busiest DJs in India and on many occasion lent support to artist tours such as Hernan Cattaneo, John Digweed, Guy J, Guy Mantzur, Khen and other renowned international artists in her country.

Furthermore, Priya hosts her monthly show on Frisky Radio titled – Provocateur and also looks after the A&R at Canadian label Modern Agenda and its sister imprint Modern Architect.

Super excited to reach episode 100 of Abandon Logic!!! Almost equally excited to have Krisztián Kajdi a.k.a. Kay-D on the show as my special guest this month! He has been a long time favorite producer of mine. Also, I put together a special 2 hour set where I go back and forth (1 to 1) between new modern tracks and some older tunes 6-11 years old. The tracklist will reflect the record's release year. I try to show that Progressive has staying power and you hear some of what what has influenced today's sound. It took TONS of digging. Goos brings a distinctive energy to the floor. His sound ranges from intricate melodies to chunky basslines, often inspired by earthy tones from around the world. 

Goos was born in Doha, Qatar to musically inclined parents who introduced him to rock music at a very young age. This early onset of music led to a gamut of musical influences in his life ranging from Led Zeppelin, The Doors and Pink Floyd. His deep-seated love for percussion instruments led Goos on a pursuit to learn the Mridangam. This subsequently enabled him to also take up drumming, giving him a well-rounded understanding of percussion. Goos discovered his passion for dance music through the unique sounds of Eric Prydz and Roger Sanchez. 

Goos hosted his own showcase at the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) in 2018 titled Journey on Tour presenting artists from around the world. Goos has played alongside international artists such as Marsh, Roy Rosenfeld, Jody Wisternoff, Eelke Kleijn, Sebastien Leger, Lane 8, Yotto, Ben Bohmer, Dee Montero, Tinlicker, Kora, Denis Horvat, Theo Kottis, Joseph Ashworth, Roger Martinez and Dousk to name a few. Goos has also played at Echoes of Earth, Satellite Beachside and Krank festivals in Goa, Go:Madras in Chennai alongside many local acts apart from artists from the Anjunadeep roster.

Goos was picked as one of ten rising DJ’s worldwide by Pioneer DJ for their Kuvo service. This was heard and reviewed by Daisuke Ito, a long time contributor to club and culture publications including Resident Advisor. Goos’ sets have been featured on When We Dip, Deeper Sounds (Cafe Mambo Ibiza, British Airways, Emirates), Sonne, Strand und Meer, The Deep Room Everything will be OK (UK), to name a few.

His fortnightly podcast ‘Journey’ showcases the full range of sounds of this versatile artist apart from a rotating roster of guests.
