One Phone Call (Feat. GEO)

Wholeheartedly blends gospel style piano reminiscent of Bon Iver, with Coldplay-esque crescendos. It was inspired by the sort of piano playing where the chords and vocals dance around each other. The lyrics are based around that idea of never quite committing to the present, a feeling that seemed to be particularly drawn out of me during lockdown last year.

This is an album of Go Periscope's indie-rock/electronica song Wasteland. It features a club and DJ-friendly extended edit, and two remixes. The dance-floor packing Auxford remix features a flurry of catchy synth lines and a refreshing melodic chord progression that would appeal to fans of Calvin Harris and Swedish House Mafia. Copperkit takes Wasteland into an ambient, low-fi jungle that would appeal to fans of Gold Panda, M83, and Giraffage.
