In regards to modding the engine is not nearly as important as whether or not they keep the TES4 file format.

Interesting to hear your thoughts on this. I wonder how much a (assumed) shift to 64-bit (very welcome) allows them to clean up older, redundant code and what impact, if any it may have on mods. Certainly I hope it provides optimisation of the actual game. I appreciate very much your posting podcasts here as another option. Thanks.
