The immense musical fertility fostered by the African diaspora as one of the main factors that nurtured not only the appearance, but the growth and development of modern club music is something fairly known but often overlooked. What should be glaringly evident is usually downplayed as either an understatement that should not be overly celebrated or as a detail unworthy of being widely discussed. But against this obscurantist complacency there is always some conscious and passionate effort to unveil the wonders of our musical ancestry and share its colourful abundance, usually by some aficionado whose devotion and generosity makes all the difference to all of us. Such is the case of Kbulom's impressive personal endeavour, taking it as both an heuristic mission and artistic expression, since they are inextricably roots of identity and source of creativity. This is much of what is factored into the dauntless and boundless mixes consistently put together by this young selector hailing from Belo Horizonte and exactly what is offered here in this episode, much to our delight.

Known for bending genres and breaking norms, Dignos’ set was a wild ride through dark techno grooves, 90s rave nostalgia, and classic old-skool energy.
