More than a canonic formation inhabiting booths all over the world, selectors working in tandem are a prolific type of artistic collaboration that found its rightful place in a craft that not only welcomes its synergistic possibilities for creation and curation, but has consistently embraced them wholly throughout its history. Deservingly, the format has become a staple of DJ performances, be it in transitory (b2b) or more permanent manners (dynamic duos), and the latter is the way these two friends who we gladly welcome in this episode chose to express their common passion for musical artifacts of all provenances and eras through alluring combinations of moods and grooves. A sonic symbiosis so fecund that requires a plethora of outlets to materialise, from stunning authorial productions to outstanding cooperative selections, Stump Valley has always managed to encapsulate much of what we hold in the highest regard in everything they do because it is basically what we strive to do too: finding fabulous new music and fantastic new ways to share it with the world. Mixes such as this one are just one among many resources used in this worthy effort that binds every single one of the contributors to this series, but an essential one at that, especially when done with these levels of dedication and dexterity.
