Within the realm of understanding provided by the context of this series, a letter can yield many senses the same way a single sound can evoke a myriad of emotions. Both, also, can entice ideas and inspire realities that go beyond their sole existence and can transcend their original purpose. The simple character 'D', for instance, can allude to many things that speak directly to what we do here: dream, desire, discovery, dance… And it also retains many of those associations when helping name a selector so dedicated to making good usage of each of their meanings in his mixes. Hailing from the vibrant northeastern city of Fortaleza where he managed to foster a following around some solid technical dexterity and true musical devotion, aires /D is one of those guests we are delighted to have amongst us, not only for being a selector with whom we share a deeply similar sense of duty around what we purvey, but also an entertainer oriented by the same idea of diversity deeply imbued in what we convey.

In the heart of Lisbon stands a club known as Lux Fragil. A Lisbon institution, the club has become representative of the Portuguese capital’s vital underground dance music scene. Since its opening in 1997, it has had one resident DJ: Mr. Tiago Miranda, or Tiago for short. When you ride with the rhythm, your current location has little importance simply because the constant state of motion it imposes has more to do with itineraries than provisional destinations, privileging flux over inertia, focussing on the trajectory instead of stops, wherever they may be. And such is the journey, be it in life or music, of this carioca born and Lisbon bound selector who's been a vivid presence in the music scenes of any of the places he's placed his roots or simply his foot. Godi Osegueda is one of those diggers whose forays take place both within and without the national borders of cities of the countries where he's lived, they sprawl across a vast array of landscapes and soundscapes that outline an itinerary that, while strongly influenced by the tenets of the House Music format, is deeply informed by the type of eclecticism that is the lodestar of this series throughout its mission of charting this wonderful world of merry music.
