Co-curator of pivotal imprint Klasse Wrecks, Mr. Ho has had an immeasurable impact on the bass and bleep end of the house and techno spectrum. Hailing from Hong Kong, there are few areas of this community that both Mr. Ho and his Klasse Wrecks imprint have not influenced. Hailing from Barcelona, Lis Sarocca is an artist very much on the rise and her ever growing discography will go some way to explain why. She has starred on standout releases from the likes of MAAI, Tresydos, Smallville, Chiwax, Shall Not Fade, a vintage Mobilee entry, and the excellent collab between Anna Walls’ The Bricks and System Error. 

A regular fixture at some of Europe and America’s finest parties, she has written a line under a fantastic summer with a lauded performance at this year’s Dimensions Festival. There is no sign of the Spaniard turning in for the year as she continues to light up dancefloors wherever she appears.

Her recording for our InSession series is testament to this and her sunny disposition shines through in this mix as she guides us through bass heavy, breaky goodness, dubby deep house, with stop offs in wiggly disco heaters and more than a few wonky stations along the way.

Italian artist Marco Pellegrino has grown to become a quite indispensable part of our community. Performing under the alias Ancut, he has carved out an enviable space for himself by way of his own Discarded Gems imprint and resulting DJ booking schedule. Based in Berlin, Marco is also in constant demand for mastering skills too and Analogcut is a very well known name in the underground and his name adorns many of our scenes’ vinyl artworks.

As you might expect from an artist of Ancut’s calibre and proven track record as a producer and mastering engineer, his recording for our InSession series is immaculately programmed. From the dreamlike intro that gradually melts away to reveal hypnotic thread that runs through much of the mix. Crispy percussion and a multi dimensional sound palette that feeds into the stream from a multitude of angles produces an intense and otherworldly experience. Soon getting up to speed Ancut shows why he is as revered as a DJ as he is an artist.
