Set recorded live at the MAMBA 12th Anniversary Festival, opening the main dance floor.
I have been a DJ for many years, with many discoveries, learning experiences and constant evolution. During this time, I realized that the music industry is full of DJs who do not dedicate themselves to in-depth research or curation, many just press play.
Through the ups and downs, insecurities were projected onto me, but even so, I always committed to building my own identity, betting on curation outside the obvious.
Curating is essential to create nuances and telling a connected and immersive sound story is what, for me, makes the difference on the dance floor.
This set was made entirely on the fly and is impactful, engaging and creates several nuances where I like to provoke in me the anxiety of discovery. MAMBA has a huge meaning in my career because it propelled me as an artist and opened many doors in the music scene.
I hope you connect with this set, made with a lot of emotion. It was a special moment, after all, 12 years are not 12 days.
And I leave you with some advice: never stop believing in your dreams, even when insecurity hits you or some doors close, giving up can never be an option.
