About
Why found a classic guitar trio with drums and bass nowadays? It is anyhow possible to invent something new? The question behind that “why” was superfluous after their first jam session in the studio of the drummer. The musical chemistry between them comes in the very first moment playing together and of course there was a lot of fun either, even the human component seems to be great. About the second question: Is it really necessary to invent new music? For this band project you can clearly say “no”. It is more about the musical passions of the members and trying to create a terrific mix out of inspiring music either at a live performance or at the studio. A CD could only be a recording moment, a good club concert in front of enthusiastic listeners it could not replace. How to enthusiast an audience? Here are some decisive criteria:
Joy of playing: this group is sparkling in joy. After two years rehearsing and one CD production the boys could not wait to conquer the stages now.
Authenticity: surely you can hear very strong influences in their music. Greg Howe, Scott Henderson, Dave Weckl, Vinnie Colaiuta, Jaco Pastorius and Gary Willis are the idols of these young musicians. But let us be honest, these ones are not bad addresses and the GUT mixture created by these exceptional talents is shining out of some very own at the end.
On their debut album “Nerd Alert” you can find powerful tracks like the title piece “Nerd Alert” or “Size does matter”, but also fine and sensitive ballads like “Sphere” or jazzy tunes on “From Now On” and “Gekröse”, Brazilian likes in “Chön Charf”, Drum&Bass in “Orbit” and finally two pieces for the lovers of odd meters in “Things Happen” and “Weird Science”.
A further confession for authenticity is the far-reaching renunciation of overdubs and other handcrafts. The result is an emerging transparent sound that helps to have the impression that the three guys unpack their instruments in a living room and give an exclusive private concert.

Goran Vujic was born 07.12.1982 in Loznica, Serbia.
He studied jazz at the Folkwang University of the Arts and lives and works in Germany as a professional freelance musician and bass player, composer and music producer. 

Goran Vujic is a very experienced electric bassist who has worked with many bands and well known musicians all over the world.

He was a bassist and band member of the successful German pop rock band LAFEE (EMI), which sold more than a million albums and DVDs worldwide. The band was nominated several times for important prizes and won three ECHOs, Die Goldene Stimmgabel, the BRAVO OTTO Silver & Gold, the Jetix Award, and the Nicks Kids Choice Award. LAFEE was successful all over Europe and mainly in German-speaking countries. The band played TV-shows and toured in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Italy.

 (RTL2), ZDF Fernsehgarten (ZDF), 50 Years of BRAVO and other TV shows sich as TV TOTAL (Pro7), THE DOME (RTL2), VIVA LIVE, MTV, DIE CHART SHOW (RTL) etc.

 
In addition to commercial success with LAFEE, Goran Vujic has been touring with the jazz / fusion band Phishbacher Trio in Germany, Austria, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Turkey for many years.

With this formation he recorded several studio and live albums. He played with the jazz / fusion trio GUT that has already released two albums at the German label JazzSick Records.

 Goran played with national and internationally renowned and well-known musicians such as the guitarist Richie Sambora (Bon Jovi) and the guitarist Orianthie. (She played with Michael Jackson and you can hear and see her on his DVD "That's It".)

 For the French guitarist Hans Van Even, Goran recorded bass for his album "Stardust Requiem" with two guitar heroes Tony McAlpine (Brett Vars, CAB4, Planet X) and Brett Garsed (Planet X). Goran can also be heard on Ricky Garcia's album "Let the sleeping dogs lie" with special guest and keyboardist Jordan Rudess from the band Dream Theater.

,,Stardust Requiem''  with two world famous guitarists and special guestsTONY McALPINE (Steve Vai - G3, Planet X) and BRETT GARSED ((Derek Sherinian, Planet X). He also recorded bass for RICKY GARCIA´s ablum ,, Let Sleeping Dogs Lie'' feat. JORDAN RUDESS (Dream Theater) on keyboards.

He is endorser for MARLEAUX BASS GUITARS, ELIXIR STRINGS, HARVEST FINE LEATHER - Guitar Bags, EBS Pedals, DAVID EDEN Amps, VOVOX Cables and has presented this companies on exhibitons/trade shows like Musik Messe Frankfurt or Musik Produktiv Messe in Germany.
