This is our very first B2B set with @sy_cm that we played together at the incredibly fantastic @consciousmandness festival this year. That Sunday morning madness of consciousness we wanted to transmit to those who were there. Our mission? Mia Kober | Fusion Festival 2025 | A Seebühne Afternoon

Live recording of my hybrid live/DJ opening set at Fusion Festival, Sonnendeck – Thursday 16:00–17:00.

This was my first show with the new setup, combining live handpan and djembe with DJing – and it was an absolute joy. The sun was blazing, the crowd was glowing, and the energy was pure magic.

Massive thanks to the Fusion crew for building this one-of-a-kind festival, and to the 3000Grad crew for the invitation, the beautiful stage, and the improvised parasol that saved the handpan from melting.

The handpan tracks 'Ouvertyre' (intro) and 'Eltanin' (starting at 21:32) are productions I wrote and produced for my electroacoustic band https://soundcloud.com/norlyzmusic. With NORLYZ we combine the warmth and fragility of acoustic instruments with the precision and power of the electronics: captivating grooves rich in fine sonic details, inspired by techno, jazz and global sounds.
