Inspired by the works of the great Baroque composer and guitarist Gaspar Sanz (1640-1710), I created this original piece for ukulele incorporating some of the phrasing and techniques found in Baroque works for the classical guitar That was seven years ago. I recently revisited this piece and decided to record it. I call it Going For Baroque.

I played this song on my Kala Baritone Ukulele. This model has a solid spruce top and a koa body. It is an acoustic electric instrument with cutaway for easier access to the higher frets.
