Gordon Engelgau graduated from the Eastman School of Music in 2016, majoring in jazz drum set. While at Eastman, he has played with the Eastman Lab Band and New Jazz Ensemble. He gigs with various Rochester jazz, funk, and rock groups.  A native of Dover, Delaware, Gordon has played with the Newark Symphony, Joe Baione Jazz Quartet, and for area churches. He has taught private drum lessons and composed and arranged for high school bands since 2011. He will begin pursuing his masters degree in music education starting in 2017 at Boston University.
