The Sound Of The FCP

Four segments of birdsong combined together, waves lapping down by the harbour, and beating out the rhythm on the danger sign at Roome Bay. That's the sound of this place.

A short walk through Denburn Wood in Crail capturing the local sounds of the bird life and the burn. Inspired partly by the BBC Soundscapes for Wellbeing project.

A Walk Through Denburn Wood

A week of walking through the local wood, which has a burn that runs through it, and is a good place for sighting birds (on one walk I saw at least a dozen different types). All recorded before the snows came, and always walking in the same direction. It's only about 200 yards, but there's a few paths and detours. It was very windy on a couple of days.

A Week Of Winter Walks Through Denburn Wood

Long-time (3+ years!) curator of a regular weekly 10 track playlist of legit, (mostly) new tracks from Soundcloud, dug up here, there and everywhere. The lists always start out as 10 tracks, but some subsequently get pulled from Soundcloud by the band/artist or the label, so don't blame me for any short lists!
