London-based duo TMPLE release ‘Eyes On Me’ via Damian Lazarus’ Rebellion, with remixes from Made By  Pete and Cristina Lazic.  

Musicians, producers and childhood friends Charlie Jordan and James Fitz-Gibbon have honed their talents within  the studio over the past two years, shaping their deep and melodic sound palette as electronic duo TMPLE.  Featuring twice on Hot Since 82’s album ‘Recovery’ alongside material via Circus and Moon Harbour, the pair have  gained support from artists such as Jamie Jones, Christian Nielsen and Damian Lazarus - with the Rebellion boss  welcoming them for their label debut’ Eyes On Me’, featuring remixes from Crosstown regular Made By Pete and  fellow Rebellion talent Cristina Lazic. 

“‘Eyes On Me’ was a track made for the dancefloor. It started with the bassline and drums, but we wanted  to give the track some real personality, something that would capture the audience’s attention. That’s  when we added the synth line on the prophet. Once the vocals were in, it came together in only a few  hours. Months later, we were sent a video of Damian playing it out in Tulum b2b with Jamie Jones at Day Zero  festival. The track was always intended to be played by DJs like Damian and Jamie in these environments,  so seeing that clip and the reaction and then for Damian to reach out wanting to sign the record was a  great feeling.” - TMPLE.  

Blooming synths, organic drums and Fitz-Gibbons’ striking vocals take hold of ‘Eyes On Me’ as the pair deliver a  trip through resonant soundscapes and bright melodies to showcase a hypnotic production. Made By Pete’s remix  comes next, taking up a slightly moodier aesthetic guided by sweeping sonics, before Cristina Lazic’s take builds  on an infectious groove to inject new energy for late-night hours.

Crosstown Rebels label boss Damian Lazarus continues his spellbinding sonic excursions with the release of his latest single, ‘Alive’, featuring the enigmatic Bloom Twins. Building on the release of his fifth album ‘Magickal’, which opened the year with a unique shock-drop launch in line with 2025’s instalment of Day Zero, the new single adds a fresh new layer to the project and showcases yet another musical shade of his revered, unique and wide-reaching sound.

‘Alive’ sees Lazarus join forces with Ukranian-born, London-based dark-pop sensations the Bloom Twins to craft an evocative composition that seamlessly bridges the worlds of electronic and pop. With additional production from acclaimed producer Mark Ralph—who previously worked on Damian’s seminal debut album ‘Smoke The Monster Out’—the track forms a deep and nostalgic connection to Lazarus’ artistic past while embracing his ever-evolving sonic landscape. Adding further magic, Canadian-born DJ/producer Nick Morgan returns to Crosstown Rebels with an entrancing remix of ‘Alive’. Landing back on the label following his mesmerising rework of AIRRICA’s ‘Hi Speed Lover’ in 2024, Morgan’s take elevates the original into a winding and immersive journey that will no doubt find a home on dancefloors worldwide.
