We kick off the Fantasy Fiction takeover with Pink and White Terraces, the project of NZ-via-Berlin artist PAWS+ (Aporia, The Tarts).

From PAWS+: "The mix is a dive into some of the influences that have inspired the sound palette for the Pink and White Terraces. I made the record largely in lockdown in Berlin so it's probably why it is tinged with this kind of longing or “Sehnsucht” auf Deutch. There's a lot of nostalgic and romantic pacific flavoured bits. There's also a lot of 80s new wavy flavour. I guess when you dig under the candy coated cover that's really what's going on. I like the duality it implies. I hope you enjoy it :)"

Between 2007 and 2020, Mario Cotto spent virtually every Saturday night in the basement studios of KCRW in Los Angeles, broadcasting his Psychedelic Service to listeners worldwide. The show was an eclectic mix of punchy dance music, psychedelic rock, 70s AM gold, 80s synth, eccentric world music and ambient freakouts. It was a reign that sadly ended with the first lockdown. Tonight, we welcome him back to the air. For two hours, experience a heady trip inspired by Warp's Artificial Intelligence comps, KLF's Chill-Out, and something like a Late Night Tales colliding with a Sublime Frequencies compilation.

Track 001 of Magnetic North series

Magnetic North is a Finish-Norwegian collaborative project born during the COVID-19 lockdown. While Earth's magnetic north pole will keep moving in a fast-paced rhythm, Magnetic North will launch new tracks on a regular basis, being a platform to bring Nordic and non-Nordic artists a little closer, at least for a short period of time. Magnetic North focuses on electronic music and sound pieces, and all the possible conjunction points between those two.
