I built it like a living framework instead of just a finished set because most producers stack everything so hard there’s no air left in the mix and that kills movement and limits what DJ's can actually do with it live. I left intentional space between the layers so every kick, bass hit, texture, and pattern has room to breathe and evolve. Keeping it at 3 wasn’t about doing less. It was about preserving dynamic range and flexibility so the sound can be manipulated in real time without falling apart or turning into distortion soup. A DJ can isolate parts, loop sections, chop the mids, stretch transitions, slam effects onto it, or blend it into completely different genres and the track still holds its structure because the frequencies are not fighting each other. The patterns stay clean under pressure and that is why it feels alive instead of over processed. There are a million ways to cut it because the foundation was designed for mutation. A lot of music today is mastered so loud and compressed that the second somebody starts pushing it through live systems or heavy edits everything collapses into mush, but I wanted the opposite. I wanted something that could survive transformation and become different every time somebody touches it. Something DJ's could actually perform with instead of just pressing play on. The real energy comes from leaving room for movement, tension, reinterpretation, and controlled chaos so the sound keeps evolving instead of being trapped in one final form. - Whomp Whomp Wizard

I love the idea that lyrics can be a kind of care for the listener - saying what they want to hear but rarely do. Love, acceptance, desire. So many people lack these things, and music is one of the few ways to have them, even if just for three minutes. That’s one of the things I explore in my music.
