YEA's WAY Academy launches in a couple of weeks and I'm very excited to share moments like these on an even more intense collaboration with those who are interested in learn my specific production process.

Pure Sine will probably be your most used utilized plugin that you will use. Although the concept is simple, the capabilities are endless when it comes to a sine wave, as it is the foundation for all sounds. From that classic sine pad that you hear an a plethora of R&B to that silky urban lead sound. Let's not forget that the sine wave is the cornerstone for every single synth bass sound, kick drum, and especially that classic tuned 808 sound. 

When we first set out to make this plugin, we initially were very interested in creating that classic lead and pad sound that we have been asked to produce for years. But after creating the plugin and interface, we have found that the synthesis possibilities are endless. Furthermore we have consolidated the interface such that the most important features needed are right in front of you. We didn't want to blog you down with a ton of complex synthesis options that you would barely use. The faster you get going producing music, the happier you will be. 

Our plugin works with UVI Free player. This is a new player that is up and coming and has a ton of synthesis features that Kontakt does not have. For example, the sine wave is produced by synthesis, not samples, so this makes this a synthesizer, and not just a sample library. The most imporatant feature that sets the UVI engine apart is the "Swag Glide!" This is that classic portamento-legato-glide feature that you hear on albums, but is hard to achieve. Whereas with Kontakt you will have to try to script a glide mode, this intricate and important feature is built right into the UVI engine.
