Sea monkey’s are just brine shrimp 
Easier to take care of than a pet chimp

But those pictures that they put on the box are definitely phony

Sometimes it feels like we’re just a bunch of sea monkeys living in a jar
Living on this great big rock orbiting a star
We pray to God for assistance but what if he’s just a little boy
And this world that we live on is just his latest toy

What if we’re living in some kid’s jar and the sun is a lightbulb
It’s not really a star
What if every time the human race takes it on the chin
There’s some kid looking down staring with a silly grin

Eight billion humans on the planet earth and we’re all trying to get by
I wonder if those sea monkeys knew the truth would they still even try

1980 - 1985 Alternative-Experimental Australian Rock band. 
All concerned: Stirling Bowen - guitars, keyboards, vocals, percussion, , (Xristo) Chris Russell  - drums-noise, guitar, extra B.vocals,  Andy Griffiths_(Griff) - vocals,  Andrew Mc Donald (Mozzwell) - bass-noises, B.vocals. Extra musicians on stage - Charles Caldas guitar, Lindsay Brunsdson - guitar, Rob Lane - Trumpet, Bryn Hills - Trombone. The Long Story...........
Gothic Farmyard project. 1980 to 1985. Gothic Farmyard, an alternative early 80's Australian band who stockpiled songs, however, released studio recorded cassette tapes (limited edition) a live tape and only now are they featured on a compilation CD. The band were described as frenetic, provocative, entertaining, noisy, silly, humorous and engaging by local press and the band described the press the sameway. History: They gigged solidly from 1980 to 1985 with bands ranging from The Scientists, The Johnnys, Beargarden, Sacred Cowboys, Harem Scarem to No Fixed Address, and other touring acts. Known as Gothic Farmyard although not really a gothic subculture band.      Based on a true story.
