Arkateqq (a.k.a. Woodro Skillson) is a music producer and sound designer specializing in rock, hip-hop, r&b and electronic dance genres. After signing with Headbanga Muzik in 2009, he crafted and remixed records for many of today’s notable artists, working from coast to coast. From beats and live instrumentation, including over 20 years of guitar experience, to songwriting, DJing, brand syncs and production for TV and film, he has racked up years of experience doing it all. His work on Italian artist Fabri Fibra's 'Guerra E Pace' elevated the album to Number 1 in Italy, earning a platinum certification, and he has composed music for 3 RIAA-certified (2 Platinum, 1 Gold) albums in the US. Woodro releases his own songs under the name Arkateqq, and with hundreds of sync placements from independent songwriting, he continues to work with artists and brands who are passionate about imagination and delivering an incredible experience. Some of the best accounts on here have really long bios (I actually appreciate this), and I don't want to be confused with a bot account. If you are a human, I am probably listening to your music (I've definitely heard some AI, you know the sound) but Soundcloud is currently the only place I can hear real unmixed underground shoegaze, wild genre experiments, the weirdest rap flows, and piano ballads all in one sitting. My wife Martine only likes mastered music (she sings on 'God Given' and 'Sun' on this page) but I will sit here and listen through everything because some labels can't/won't and I actually enjoy the process of finding gold in the form of a passionate musician who can only afford to upkeep a Soundcloud account. If no one has heard you yet, keep creating! We still don't know you, but we are listening! Ultimately, my goal is to help computer musicians understand that while playing an instrument is an amazing skill to harness, studio-quality recordings can be made anywhere and at anytime (and with any instrument). I don't spend time thinking about what I create, no formulas, no recipes, no planning, no genre in mind, I just go wherever the first few notes take me, pretty much improvised; I tend to go with the first idea that pops into my head; judge for yourself how that pans out!

In order to relate to your music most listeners need to be able to pigeonhole it, if they can’t do this because you create tunes that are unique they'll likely dismiss your creativity, absorbing it years later when other musicians, believing they got there first, stumble on your sound!

I make music for fun and to get away. I have multiple styles, although my biggest influence is in electronic music.

I am self taught and learned with Music Studio 2 on a first generation ipad 11 years ago. I have never composed before. Perform more than 80 songs a year for the first 6-7 years to learn about the program and develop creativity to compose. I have listened to different types of music throughout my life and maybe that has helped me.

I still compose only with an ipad (last generation), but I no longer work only with native MS2 instruments since I have expanded my instrument library with programs such as Audiokit, Digital D1, kv331, Sunrizer, etc ...

My music can be downloaded, but not used for commercial purposes (my authorization is required).

Hello everyone,   I'm sorry, but I can't send any more follow up because my stock (1997 people) of my subscribed artists has been exceeded!                                                                                           
      I'm a self-taught amateur composer for the past fifteen years  in the genre Rock-Surf, Spanish Rock, Rock film-serial noir, neo classic etc...  my music is simple, and my guitar and bass sets are rather minimalist , recorded at home with a little pocket home studio "Micro BR" Roland, sometimes in collaboration for my last pieces with my son Rémi Carpentier at the synthetiser and logitiel FL studio.
My music has already been selected with Groover more than sixty times in Spotify playlists, or various web radio, blogs and media press articles, or for example obtained 104,600 streams on this platform in 2023.  Thank you for all your listening and comments.

I'm an avant-garde musician. I like to experiment with software, instruments, and everyday objects when creating on a song.

Music is my latest artistic passion; aside from being deeply invested in making music, I create digital art, drawings, paintings, mixed-media pieces, photography, photomanipulations, poetry, and short stories. All of which can be found on my DeviantArt: Leehon.

 My musical background is varied. I started studies in music theory and violin at the age of 8. At the age of eleven, I started with  guitar. I 'm a self-taught guitarist. One year later I started in  a school to study harmony and modern piano for six years. In 2006 I moved to Madrid to study visual production and sound.

I'm part of several bands which plays different styles: Rock, pop, heavy ...

My favourite music style  is classical music and rock. I do not think that both worlds need to be exclusionary.

My musical instrument is the piano. I spend my time playing it with complete devotion.
