This was written over 10 years ago as a George Formby style (Google the name if you’ve never heard of him) ukulele song - a mildly amusing message to Gal to let him know that I was fully aware of the mental health difficulties he was having and that I would always be there if he needed me.

Over the years, we spoke often about the song but nothing much came of it until Gal suggested slowing the tempo and giving it a kind of shuffle beat. As it was about him, I thought he should definitely sing the lead vocal, which I think works rather well. (*Vocalist’s note: It would help if I could still sing…)

You’ll find many personal references to Gal’s life in the lyrics. At the time it was written, he was 63, literally a fatal age for men in the extended Reeves family and he wasn’t having the best of times himself, still wrestling with the grief of a marriage break-up alongside the loss of his big brother and closest friend less than a year before. But even with all of this going on (and not always out of choice) he found there were plenty more mountains to climb.

The transition of the tune from Formby to Albers is a story in itself but suffice it to say that Hans somehow managed to transform it into this rather poignant opus.  He has also made a beautiful film to accompany the piece (see link above). All in all, it testifies perfectly to the reason why Gal’s cleats are somewhat care-worn...and he still has many mountains yet to climb.. (Terry Reeves)

      This is a brand new video that's dropping on YouTube later tonight!.  I finished it last week and couldn't wait to see what you guys think about it, so please watch the video after listening because without the video the sound effects make no sense and neither does the song! It's an instrumental piece and was part of the song "She Rescues Me" that I had to edit out of the song due to it being too long, so here are the sections that I edited out.

     It's one of my space adventures videos and I'll leave it up to the viewer to make sense of it!😂 It's pretty long at over 6 minutes but stay with it because it's pretty cool! I threw a ton of special effects at it, both video and audio, and most of it is in 4K, which absorbed lots of memory and it was very time-consuming to put together! Crank it up and watch it on a big screen TV for a mind-blowing experience. I love astronomy and Sci-Fi films, so periodically I'll post one of my Space Videos along my songs, so climb aboard and let's trip the cosmos together! This is probably one of the earliest house songs I ever wrote. Tonally, it's a huge nod to Daft Punk's music, as they are one of my biggest influences in all of music. I have since mastered it and layered the song further than when I released it earlier in the year to make it both more articulate, yet "spacey."

In order to relate to your music most listeners need to be able to pigeonhole it, if they can’t do this because you create tunes that are unique they'll likely dismiss your creativity, absorbing it years later when other musicians, believing they got there first, stumble on your sound!

No followers, no listeners, by that measurement I’ve failed miserably, however, I have succeeded  in remaining true to authentic creative self, underground in this world, #SixFeetUnderground the next!
