This chill blend of trip hop and dream pop opens up the band's final studio album, 'Flux,' released in 1998. "City Moon" has held the top track position on both Apple Music and Spotify in recent years, as well as being the top lyric viewed on Genius, so it's become many folks first introduction to Love Spirals Downwards.

This song was featured on the 'Heavenly Voices Part V' compilation CD released by Hyperium in 1998 and the 'Samadhi Experience - Part 1" compilation CD released by Samadhi Musik in 2005.

In 2023, Love Spirals Downwards released an expanded and remastered version of the album, called ‘Flux Deluxe Edition,’ and in 2024 they released the first ever vinyl edition of the album through Lost In Ohio. The white vinyl 12 inch record features the original 9 tracks of the original release but newly remastered from the original files.

~Falling in love is the best thing, but sometimes the fear and anxiety of doing something wrong and pushing that special person, that chance, away just takes control inside us, and we end up doing things that keep us thinking if we did ok or not.

But, deep there, there's a feeling of hope, that everything can be solved, we can make it work, we can make it right, and we cling on to that feeling, always hoping for the best.
