New York Minute Freestyle - Taz & Govenda

"AMAZING." Inc was founded by noneother than Govenda around January 2008. The story of it's creation is quite complicated, so that's something you'll have to ask the artist himself. For those who don't know the meaning of "Govenda," as well as those who refer to it as a "coolie" name, please be aware that the name is one of the most respectable titles within the Hindu religion. It's another name for Lord Krishna. Some of you may call him Christ. Some call him Allah. I simple call him the almighty...

Govenda was mistakenly born in Queens, New York in 1993. At the age of 12, he started to drink a lot of rum and smoke a lot of ganja while hanging out with his rasta friends. All of his friends rapped..but not Govenda. They used to make fun of him. He became a sort of black sheep. Everybody would rap about him during the cyphers and rotation of the various high grade strands. He got fed up. He was helpless.

One day Govenda went home and (furiously) wrote about two pages worth of bars and went back to his friends the next day. It's unknown what was written, but all we can remember is that it was fire and he had to continue. He found a new talent. A new skill. He tamed it. Trained it. Enhanced it's quality and formulated it into what you see before you.

After being to several schools in Brooklyn, Queens, The Bronx, Atlanta, Decatur, and the Central Florida region, Govenda was able to put himself up to many challenges such as freestyle battles and other things of the sort. In January of 2011, he began recording his own music. With no guidance or teacher in the Recording Arts field, Govenda taught himself the secrets of mixing, mastering, and producing a song. Although he has a long way before reaching the professional level, he gets better and better with every single bar he lays down on an instrumental.

PERSONAL LIFE 
Let's keep this short and simple. He currently lives in Clermont, Florida but has solid plans to move back to his homeland.. the big city. He resides with his Grandparents. His mother is deceased and passed away around November 2006 (RIP MOMMA DUKES). His father is unknown. He trusts nobody except for very few family members. He graduated from high school in 2011 from SOUTH LAKE HIGH SCHOOL in Groveland, Florida. He plans on attending University of Miami to earn himself a degree in Criminal Justice. He enjoys writing, rapping, and being alone at times, but also getting out and being able to party with the people who mean the most. He put away his childhood activities and quit smoking and drinking. He has big plans (not dreams) to become famous. If not through the Art of Music, then it will be in the name of the law (the law can be twisted, my people who need a lawyer ;). One way or another, he's determined to leave his stain upon this fabricated place we call Earth.
