About Artist:

His passion for electronic music was born at an early age, influenced by Deep House. His love for sound led him to start his career as a DJ in 2009, mixing at small parties in his city.

Each of his sessions stands out for a rhythmic richness that shapes a unique, pure and deep sound. His musical selection fuses textures and enveloping atmospheres, transporting the listener on a sonic journey through the sounds of the underground.

His style oscillates between Deep, Organic and Progressive House, always with a marked preference for groove.

He currently hosts "Armónica Sounds", his radio show dedicated to exploring and promoting the freshest and most avant-garde sounds of the organic scene. A space where exclusive sets and carefully curated guest sessions converge, creating a sonic experience and highlighting emerging and established talents from the scene.

This week's Ultiset is a wild ride and journey.  It also was inspired by David Hammond's music (AKA Solis (US)).  Sometimes when someone shares their music with you - it must be shared and a mix theme emerges from it.  This is that set.  Solis' music is getting a lot of attention by the big guns in progressive and it is not surprising.  Stellar production, emotional yet big room tough...he is one to watch!  This set also features amazing promo music by labels and producers I truly admire and enjoy supporting.  Also, I have been pondering what my sets mean to me lately and this is what resonates - They are editorial as much as they are a journey - there is so much amazing new music hitting the scene and this is that music I feel is going to make a significant impression on the progressive and house music scene.  I love making these long sets every week and sharing it with those who love the music as much as I do.  I have also included some new music I have been working on. This week we are thrilled to welcome back Uruguayan master @alexefe_uy, his country’s top progressive DJ and music producer, a dude who is passionate and dedicated to the constant progress and evolution of electronic music.

Deeply influenced by Global Underground through the work of renowned artists such as Sasha, Nick Warren, and Digweed, among others, his innate curiosity and restlessness as a self-taught musician—always exploring new formats, sounds, textures, and musical techniques—has led him throughout his life on a personal journey of self-discovery, healing, and evolution.

His music has received support from various artists such as Hernan Cattaneo, Weird Sounding Dude, Simply City, Marcelo Vasami, DJ Rudy, Cream, Mayro, and Ricky Ryan. He has released tracks on labels including Electronic Groove Records, Lake Underground, Starlight Group, Future Avenue, AH Digital, and OneDotSixTwo. This has driven his regional expansion with performances in Uruguay, Argentina, Chile, Paraguay, and Brazil—one of his main goals being to share his musical expression worldwide.

Since 2011, he has led the Clubbing Mvd project alongside Diego Berrondo as well as Progressive House Uruguay, organizing events in his home country while promoting and inspiring new talent.
