Out of all of Jesus’ parables, half are about money. Today, Pastor Owens helps us examine one of the most perplexing passages about worldly possessions. In Luke 16:1-13, Jesus tells a surprising story of a dishonest manager who suddenly faces an audit.  Caught in his dishonesty, the manager scrambles to secure his future by reducing the debts of others, hoping to gain their favor. It may seem like a puzzling parable, but Jesus uses it to remind us of a deeper truth. That we are not owners, but stewards.  Everything we have -- our time, our gifts, our resources -- is entrusted to us for a season.
