“Sharp Pulse” is the Staccato chapter of EP “Electric Waves – A Journey Through Five Rhythms”.

Built for conscious dance and 5Rhythms-inspired workshops, this track sits around 118 BPM with a dry, grounded groove: tight kick and snare, sharp claps, tribal hand drums and short metallic hits, carried by a low, telluric bass.

The energy is clear, directional and a bit robotic: arms cutting through the air, hips fully engaged, space getting denser with each beat. Rhythmic motifs repeat, shift and insist, inviting boundaries, lines, decisions and persistence in the body.

No vocals, purely instrumental. Dark, tribal, slightly industrial, but always embodied and safe.

The Saying “blood is thicker than water” isn’t used by chance, especcially not when talking about Theydream. The two brothers from beaituful Switzerland have formed an unbreakable bond based on both brother’s love of electronic music which they emphasize with their new “Rocket Man” EP yet again.

With the title giving A-side track ”Rocket Man” the guys stay true to their name by inviting you, into their world of deep, melancholic and gloomy sound spheres which absorb you completely and leave you behind stunned and thrilled.

The B-Side “Pi Persei” connects seamlessly and keeps your journey running through the next level of zero gravity and hypnosis. Integrated into a perfectly aligned beat structure, all three tracks are bursting with self-confidence and sophistication, certainly nothing you would be taking for granted when being confronted with these two humble and withdrawn young gentlemen.

Theydream suceed in surprising us, also with their third track “Inertia”: an elaborate and gloriously, puristic piece of music which rounds of this impressive 3-track EP. We can all be looking forward to watching the brothers climb up the ladder of success in the near of future.

Renowned German DJ and producer ​Boris Brejcha has unveiled his hotly anticipated new album ​Space Diver,​ out​ 24th January​ via ​Ultra Music​.
