Setelah merilis single 'Ordinary Friends' di tahun 2008, Dear Nancy mengalami fase dimana semua personilnya bekerja, yang tadinya hanya kuliah sekarang sudah lulus dan memulai fase mencari kerja, semua kegiatan band yang awalnya rutin dan dinamis, menjadi pasif dan cenderung stagnan, saat itu DearNancy sedang dalam peroses pengerjaan album kedua sudah rampung 60%, tapi karena kesibukan masing-masing personilnya akhirnya terbengkalai, studio rekaman berpindah pindah, lalu kemudian jadwal latihan sudah mulai berkurang, tapi akhirnya setelah berjuang susah payah untuk menyelesaikan album, Dear Nancy akhirnya merilis album 'Love' di tanggal 24 Februari 2012, bertepatan dengan ulang tahun bassist kami, Ralmond.
