Blackchild (ITA) returns to Solid Grooves as the bubbling Italian serves up his latest single, ‘Hypin’.

As fresh and exciting names come, Blackchild (ITA) is right up there with the surging DJ, producer and label boss’ recent releases via the likes Hot Creations and his own LATEMORNING imprint only furthering his rapid ascent. 

Now an established member of the Solid Grooves family, touching down on the main imprint and sub-label Solid Grooves Raw seven times while joining the collective at the likes of ADE and Printworks, late May welcomes more signature dancefloor business on his return with the vibrant ‘Hypin’. 

Combining rolling drums and snaking low-ends with warping bass licks and trademark vocal samples, ‘Hypin’ sees the Italian deliver yet more heat on Solid Grooves as they continue to prove a perfect match.

Patrick Topping recruits ItaloBros for ‘Muse’, a three-track house EP on Trick.
The title track ‘Muse’ leads the release, fusing bouncing low-end, rapid-fire drum patterns and deftly chopped vocals together for a hair-raising start. ‘Baby’ follows suit, bringing a wriggling bassline together with floating
synth licks before ‘Black’ closes the release with pounding kicks, melodic keys, and grooving percussion.

Thos releases have gone on to be supported by industry heavyweight like Pete Tong & Danny Howard to The Martinez Brothers & Marco Carola and his tunes have wreaked havoc on radio stations and dance floors around the world, and his latest release ‘Ahora Comprendo’ looks set to continue this trend. 

Starting off with the lead and title track ‘Ahora Comprendo’ after one listen you will also understand why Orpi has been supported by the biggest in the scene. This is the perfect track for enjoying in the sunshine of Miami and further afield. With a perfect blend of avant-garde beats and rolling bassline, he adds delicate soulful chords and a sensual Spanish vocal in the break before unleashing the groove again which will have crowds in rapture…… 

On the B-side we have ‘Pills & Chill’ where Daniel Orpi drops a fierce bassline powered roller which stands out amongst the crowd. With a great vocal hook he layers this on top of a tasty groove so that if you’re not already dancing will most certainly will be upon hearing this. This is a fire release from both Orpi and Do Not Sleep and gets everyone ready for the summer in perfect fashion.
