01 Burden - Althea's Riot (Original Mix) 

SR002 is the second chapter of Burden' Self-release series. 

"Althea's Riot" was produced during summer 2020 after playing for the first time in Greece. 
Althea is a quiet beach located 30km south of Athens, surmounted by an abandoned hotel composed of a terraced concrete structure overlooking the sea. 
It was the most beautiful place to throw a rave and It was such an amazing experience being able to play my music there in the early hours of the morning. 

The loopy overwhelming bassline in opposition to the bright granular chords aim to recreate the atmosphere of that morning, the 4/4 pounding groove with a joyful vibe.

Welcome to the Jungle. ANIMA Records follows up its debut release with JUNGLE [002].  As part of our mission to connect the world with a global techno sound - We are releasing one of the first ‘Concept’ Techno LP’s.  Paired with equally psychedelic artwork, the ‘JUNGLE’ release is inspired by organic sounds, lush world rhythms, and a focus on producers based in warmer climates. We feature music from Brazil, Uruguay, Malta, Australia and much more - as we take the focus away from club environments, to the places where the sun can shine, a clave pattern pushes the beat forward, and the heat is welcome.  ‘JUNGLE’ is our next step in offering the future of dance music something fresh and different.
