Simina Grigoriu kicks off 2025 with a powerhouse release, teaming up with Italian techno maestro Hollen for the ‘Remote Control’ EP - out now on her imprint, Kuukou Records. Packed with three hypnotic tracks - ‘Remote Control,’ ‘Kaoss Physics,’ and ‘Wrong Or Right’ - this EP delivers a high-octane dose of cutting-edge techno built to dominate global dancefloors.

Simina and Hollen’s collaboration is a seamless blend of pulsating rhythms, intricate textures, and deep, driving energy. From peak-time bangers to hypnotic grooves, the ‘Remote Control’ EP is a statement of intent for the year ahead.

Meine Stücke wurzeln im Geist des Trance der 90er, inspiriert von Künstlern wie Cosmic Gate, Taucher oder den legendären Tunnel Trance Force-Compilations. Daraus entstand in meinen Kompositionen etwas Eigenes: eine Mischung aus den treibenden Elementen von Techno und der ekstatischen Energie des Rave. Doch immer trägt der Sound auch etwas Neues in sich – eine eigene Handschrift, die den Zeitgeist der 2000er einfängt und ihn mit frischer Atmosphäre weiterträgt.

Immersed in music since childhood, Cédrik aka CD.R1K is a DJ from Montreal. His musical roots stem from learning the guitar, exploring rock, metal, jazz, and blues. It’s only been a year since he ventured into electronic music. Quickly, he fell in love with its complexity and the release of energy it provides. By day, he studies anthropology, but at twilight, he transforms into a bartender and DJ, taking on the nightlife.
He’s drawn to various techno subgenres, including acid techno, hard techno, hard groove, as well as trance and occasionally drum and bass/jungle culture. In his mixes, he creates a symbiosis between melody and polyrhythm. Gradually, he’s making his mark in Montreal’s DJ scene, performing at underground events like ‘Droplets’ and ‘La Face B.’ He has also collaborated with the techno collective Bisous


Immergé dans la musique depuis son enfance, Cédrik aka CD.R1K est un DJ originaire de Montréal. Il s’intéresse à plusieurs sous-genres techno, notamment l’acid techno, la hard techno, le hard groove, mais aussi la trance et parfois la culture drum and bass/jungle. Dans ses mix, il crée une symbiose entre mélodie et polyrythmie. Il fait tranquillement son entrée dans la culture DJ Montréalaise en performant pour des events undergrounds dont droplets et La Face B. Il a d’ailleurs travaillé avec le collectif techno Bisous.
