The gift of listening is one of the best gifts you can give another person this Christmas. It’s been said, “listening is so closely linked to loving that the two are almost indistinguishable.” As we follow the meeting of Mary and Elizabeth in Luke 1:26-45 it is evident that they heard and saw each other. The result? Mary praises God in poetry that is preserved for all time—the Magnificat! Join us as we look at the gift of incarnational listening where empathy can flourish. It’s a gift to receive and to give.
