On the 14th of July, my Granddad, Michael, passed away at his home in Limerick, Ireland.

Sadly due to COVID-19 restrictions, I can’t attend his funeral tomorrow, which is absolutely heartbreaking and something I’m still battling in my head.

So I did a cover of a song that reminds me of my Grandparents, including my wonderful Nanna, Nuala, who passed away in 2007. I still miss her every day, I will now miss them both every day. This song will be played at his funeral tomorrow.

I had just over 24 hours to get it together, so I certainly couldn’t do a perfect job, but in a way I feel like it sounds just as it’s supposed to. This is Songbird - Fleetwood Mac.

I hope wherever they are, they can hear this and know how much they will always mean to me. Here's to Michael & Nuala.
