The theme of Isaiah 49 was of hope and restoration. My friend Ben suggested the verse on the back of a theme we had been working with the night before. We had been that day discussing with a sculptor the expression of art through various mediums including; sound, light, color and technical based sciences alongside mathematics etc. Straight to the workshop, logic called at the early hours numbing the fingers and straining the eyes at such abstract hours. The season new afresh. We had a song.

Isaiah 49 - Deep House

The land of Uz. 2000BC. A place of trial and tribulation for a man named Job. A man whose life filled with prestige, possessions suddenly stripped and assaulted from every angle. 
A theological conundrum of faith and a treatise about the suffering of a man who in humble reverence surrenders all. We see great suffering yet a glimpse of hope followed by a wave of renewal and prosperity in the life of this man. The truth, God is faithful through the midst of it all. 
The song was written with the context of Job in mind. Undergoing some trials and tribulations personally led to the deep melodic harmony with a promise of hope. A glimpse of sunlight through the end of the tunnel.
