Više od dvadeset godina karijere DJa uz koju su se vezali različiti događaji, te brojna postignuća u glazbenom stvaralaštvu i nastupima. Nema smisla nabrajati, jer bi to samo za sebe bilo sadržajno štivo namijenjeno strpljivom čitatelju. Ipak, čini se da je u posljednje vrijeme ovaj zagrebački DJ, producent, inženjer zvuka, mastering inženjer, live performer, dodatno pritisnuo papučicu gasa, te je cijeli svoj profesionalni opus podigao na višu razinu. 

Iako u svojim DJ setovima vrlo često stilski putuje kroz prilično različite žanrovske forme, uvijek sebe svrstava u techno DJe te je kao dio techno line-upa nastupio na nebrojeno puno partya i festivala u regiji i šire.Brojna izdanja za uglavnom inozemne labele ukazuju na njegovo prirodno okruženje: studio. Tamo provodi puno vremena radeći na svim fazama razrade ideja i realizacije od inicijalne ideje do masteringa. U novije vrijeme, studio je i svojevrsni "labos" u kojem stalno dorađuje, mijenja i usavršava, jedno novo poglavlje u karijeri i prilično jedinstvenu artističku formu... 

Ideja live acta nije bila neka novost, no prijelomni trenutak se dogodio 2015. godine. Dugogodišnji prijatelj i pokretač Moondance festivala znao je za njegovu metodu rada u studiju; Usnimavanje livetakeova direktno s instrumenata na hard disc te naknadni miks i obrada, ukazivali su da u tom radu postoji potencijal da metodu prenese na stage. I sam je o tome razmišljao, te je imao i neke pripremljene "rutine" kako bi to u nekoj perspektivi mogao izvesti. No nije bio spreman. Ne još. Tri mjeseca prije festivala, objavljeno je da nastupa kao "Ivan Komlinović - Live". Nije bilo povratka; U nekoliko dana, postavio je prioritete, plan i krenuo u izvršenje!

Iako je live act njegova opsesija, Ivan je techno DJ i niti u jednom trenutku nije zapostavio svoje korijene. Njegov je live nastup prilično rijetka i atraktivna pojava, no u nekim okolnostima i na nekim tipovima partya, procjenjuje kako je DJ nastup prikladniji prostoru, tehničkim uvjetima i tipupartya.

DDD Records is a store and a label based in Paris. The label’s LMR catalog category is used for releases that are focused on remixing music from the very first vinyl releases from the 1980s by under-rated French electronic music producer Luc Marianni.
Giegling artist Vril uses samples from Marianni’s Six Synthetic Suites released in 1986 to produce this lovely slab of dub techno. Carefully crafted, this track is all about soft edges, with a kind of blurry and hazy vibe that permeates it. A sense of motion is conveyed by the sparse but efficient rhythmic section, with chords and melodic elements giving the impression of floating. With much more contrast and complexity than it might seem at first listen, this is beyond your usual dub techno cut.
