Funboys is a Norwegian-Australian-Belgian music collaboration, born from a mutual penchant for late nights, stiff drinks, bad dance-moves, techno and punk. Nine years ago, the Funboys lads started meeting up in a Gold Coast studio on Friday afternoons with the aim of finishing a baker’s dozen beers as well as an edit that Audun could play out the very same night in the club.

After overcoming their cultural differences and associated language barriers the natural progression from these humble and beer-battered beginnings was to venture into writing original Funboys material; house and techno, often rooted in a punk attitude.

Funboys has released a variety of music on Tronik Youth’s UK label NEIN Records, Golden Bug’s French label La Belle Records, and Australian labels Unknown Records, Here To Hell, Sweat It Out, Club Sweat, and Future Classic.

Here we go, after the statement made by the label heads Orlando Voorn and Paul Donton setting nothing but a marker, here you will now only have the best of the best from the orientations of Techno appearing on the label.

Alexi Delano is no exception to that standard.
Having worked with some of the biggest names and labels within the scene.
We are very honoured to have him join the collective. 
Here he delivers two original cuts of some very fine Techno indeed. 

First original cut, Shifting Paradigma is driving techno goodness which is going to insanely drive any speakers wild with its relentless groove.


On board first for a remix another from the Swedish clan, we invite none other than Cari Lekebusch!

This man needs no introduction for whom he is in the techno scene and we are delighted to have him involved with this project.

Here, Cari grabs the track and does what he only does best. Cari makes a pulsating remix which is only going to further damage those speakers in the right way. Snare builds and a no nonsense groove slamming those speakers! 
What more do you want?

This version is going to rock some floors alright and get those techno bods in raw right frame of twisted.

Next, we invite none other than Eviltron for his first outing on Triangle. The Slab Sessions man from Eviltron Music evolves with his own deep interpretation and adds some more elements and effects to the already driving groove.
This might even freak you out! Be Warned!

The other original cut from Alexi is Motion, it’s another example with twists and turns and a horrifying sound vocal just to get you through your paces.

On the remix, label head Orlando Voorn adds the elements of some funky techno giving a happier vibe to the package.
Quirky would be a good phrase to explain, however do we need to explain what you get from Orlando?

"Born in '87 and raised eating music (before suggested by my parents and then researched untiringly on my own), I am a passionate records collector, especially vinyl, living with headphones on. An ear into the groove and the love for electronic sounds are basic elements of my musical proposal, as well as the focus on quality.   
Since 2019, as co-founder of Taste Rec. (@tasterecmilano), I am involved in selecting, producing and publishing music.
