Rytm Tracker is a collection of sounds recorded from the Analog Rytm by Elektron. This pack of sounds contains drums, bass, fx, synths and percussion. The drums and other sounds were first recorded dry and then through a Peavy PGP 20 for saturation, a Dream Reaper by Adventure Audio for fuzz and with Rytm's drive for overdrive.

The machine was recorded using Rupert Neve Designs Portico 5017 and Focusrite ISA One preamps, RME ADI 2 Conversion and Cubase 10.5 to capture and edit. All sounds were recorded in 16 bit 44k mono WAV. Rytm Tracker is a 100% royalty free sample pack created for use with the Tracker by Polyend but will work with all sample players.

B1t Crunch3r's new song "Dimension X" was made entirely on the new Polyend Tracker hardware sampler. The track is inspired by the 1950s radio show of the same name which is now public domain. The Polyend Tracker was used to sample the radio show and create a spacey, bass heavy, minimal deep dubstep track around it. The sounds used in the track were recorded by B1t Crunch3r and can be found in various sample packs on our Gradient Lab Bandcamp page.

Dimension X was mixed in the Polyend Tracker and recorded in Cubase. The final mix was mastered in Wavelab by B1t Crunch3r.

The song is available for free download and the project file is included for anyone with a Polyend Tracker.

The machine was recorded using SSL SiX desktop console, Rupert Neve Designs Portico 5017 and Focusrite ISA One preamps, RME ADI 2 Conversion and Cubase 10.5 to capture and edit. All sounds were recorded in 16 bit 44k mono WAV. Digitone Tracker is a 100% royalty free sample pack created for use with the Tracker by Polyend but will work with all sample players and DAWs.

Standard Drums returns with some hard hitting new sounds. We designed these drums using hardware synthesizers, drum machines, toy drum sets and more to create a wide range of one shot samples. Standard Drums was meticulously recorded and edited for use by experienced and new sound designers and composers and anyone in between. Standard Drums Vol 3 Demo

This vintage circuit bent Speak & Read features a 3.55 mm (1/8") line output jack, 2 momentary loop buttons, a loop hold switch, 2 different glitch switches, a distortion switch, a pitch on/off switch and corresponding pitch amount knob. The Speak & Read has a green LED and a battery kill switch which can be used to hard reset the device if needed.

The Speak & Read was released in 1980 by Texas Instruments and uses a 4 bit microprocessor and a custom DSP. It has a vocabulary of 250 words and uses the same TMS5100 voice synthesis processor IC found in the Speak & Spell. The added modifications make this unit perfect for creative sound design and lo-fi drones and noise. The device requires 4 "C" Batteries or optional DC power supply. It has a uniquely gritty lo-fi sound with a large amount of possibilities. Batteries not included. Battery cover is included but has a piece of tape to keep it secure.

The U220 is a highly under rated rompler released in 1989. It featured 30 voices and used resynthesized pulse code modulation but lacked a filter. Sounds could be layered together but it had basic sound shaping possibilities. The factory sounds of the U220 covered everything from drums to strings, synths, pianos and much more. This 1U rackmount sound module could also be expanded using the 15 SN-U110 PCM cards. Despite the limitations and in part due to them, the U220 had it's own sound. This sample pack captures the lo-fi 1990's sound of the U220 and adds some useful processing like distortion and reverb. We have also included instrument versions of the sounds for the Tracker. All samples are 100% royalty free for commercial use.

Gradient Lab U220 Expansion 1 Tracker contains samples from The Rock Drums, Orchestral Strings and SFX PCM expansion cards for the U110 & U220 recorded specially for the Polyend Tracker. We've included dry unaltered sounds recorded from the cards and put our own twist on them with distortion, ring mod and reverb pedals. We've also set up instruments with sample loop points to recreate the original patches on the Tracker as close as possible turning the Tracker into a old school rompler.

There are some classic sounds on tap here heard in a few well know dnb, house, and video game genres to say the least. They're also very hard to find.

Gradient Lab Presents: Experimental Drums.
This collection of drums was created to add a sound to drum collections we find to be rare. We overloaded our dynamic mics purposefully to exploit their natural tendencies to overdrive and compress. We used these techniques along with preamps that have their own subtle grit and color to create a raw in your face sound. For our source material we intentionally broke our snare heads and tom heads and then recorded the result as we destroyed the sound further. We stacked cracked cymbals and put some broken rides on a hi-hat stand to create a ride-hat. These drums will add something very different to your tool kit and they will work in any genre, they have been processed with minimal effect if any at all leaving a large amount of room for creative treatment, experiment and customization. Experimental Drums can be used 100% royalty free.
