Oblicast 015 is from Austrian DJ @elias_djvoid, we met Elias while he was traveling in Australia and we were touring Gene on Earth, Elias warmed up for him at one of the parties.

elias aka DJ Void is a young producer and selector, born in 1991 in western Austria, in a town in the middle of the woods. Started with playing drums, he caught attention in the Viennese scene when he drifted into electronic music. Collecting records and djing since ever he's helped shape the underground scene of the city with parties such as Malennachzahlen and X-fact. Perfect housey vibes for the upcoming spring.

This mix is dedicated to his last Australia journey in March 2019, representing vibes & trax he had in his mind, when he finished his journey through the country. He got to know great people like the Sash Crew, Sunday Breakfest Club and the oblique gang.

This week’s podcast is done by Norwegian partners in crime Rub800 & Tonchius. You can tell they’re a match both on and off the decks, even though they didn’t start their careers together. 

Rub800 already got intrigued with DJing some 15 years ago and producing came not long after, ultimately leading to releasing EPs on Shadow Hide you, Meld, Stillwell. Tonchius may have started a little later, but already did 2 great releases together with Rub800. Their first track, going by the name ‘Lovers Fight’, is one of the most popular house tracks released on LowMoneyMusicLove and this crowd pleaser was quickly picked up by the likes of Raresh. The second one is their first EP together under the moniker ‘Ruton’ on their own imprint: Continually. More music from them is headed your way this spring, but until then you can listen to their smooth house & techno style through this great mix they did for us.
