Back Again

UK born, Toronto raised, Whistler tempered, Vancouver current. Came west for a high school jazz band competition many moons ago and never looked back. Read: finding the place where mountains meet the ocean in a rainforest. 

A few highlights since picking up my first house track on vinyl in 1994: Resident and Head Sherpa of Vancouver's Together Full Moon Ritual gatherings for seven years with the indomitable G-Boo. Blessed to have played Shambhala, Summer Love, a number of Vancouver residencies, some trips abroad, and a slew of gigs with other awe-inspiring and talented people along the way, from abroad and from the deep pool of talent in Vancouver. 

Then it all got repetitive, so founded "The Duplex Project: Two Levels of House", with live percussion (Reed Clayton) and vocalist (Yamuna Joliceur), throwing down for our Vancouver residency at Ginger62. Went seeking more, DJ'ing alongside live jam bands like EOTO and Dr. Didg. Felt a plateau, so put it all down for a spell to do some other things. 

Then came digital and the game changed forever. The possibilities are endless. Good Music Is Everywhere! So let’s soak it up – it’s one of the best things we ever get to do.
