This mix is more or less the sound I have been trying to get locked down for a while. Back in the day funky house had a soul. Lately the music that comes out is just a bunch of computer generated sounds. This reminds me of the days when I used to pull out on the best plastic from my record box. Enjoy, it starts out fairly deep then jumps into funk then mellows down.

Idealogue - Synthwave

Something I am playing with. NOT A SONG BUT AN IDEA

I’ve lived my life through basslines and breakbeats. For over 18 years, I rocked clubs all over South Africa, sharing the actual turntables with dance music legends in the ’90s and 2000s - fueling nights where the music was everything. My first house track landed on Sheer Music before I even turned 18, a whirlwind start that never really left my blood.

Life took me sideways for a while - I traded DJ booths for drum kits, playing in bands and chasing a different kind of groove. But the pull of the studio never faded. Now, I’m back with "Sirens," my first release in this new era. Dark, driving, and built for the dancefloor, it’s a reminder that some sirens never stop calling.

The comeback starts now.
