
Graeme Douglas is the songwriter, musician and arranger jointly responsible for such classics as “Do Anything You Wanna Do”, “Power and the Glory”, “Quit this Town”, “Ugly Guys”, “Tour de Force”, “Little does she know” and many, many more from the Eddie and the Hot Rods’ and the Kursaal Flyers’ songbooks.

During the seventies both of these bands toured comprehensively in the U.K., Europe and the North American continent. Some of the highlights are noted in the “Personal History” pages of his web site.

During the eighties, Graeme spent a number of years studying Astrophysics at Queen Mary’s College, University of London. In the nineties and noughties, some tours with versions of the Kursaals and the Hot Rods were undertaken.

The advent of the computer age allowed Graeme to continue with his song-writing and recording, becoming accustomed to the vagaries of the digital format – video editing was another skill acquired by the well-known trial-and-error method. The CD “G2” was recorded with the valuable assistance of Jim Miller, who supplied vocal expertise on the album.

Graeme is now performing solo with a laptop; all music has been recorded, or, appropriately, re-recorded, by himself, to which he will add live vocal and guitar performances. The repertoire includes his most popular songs, together with selections from his solo CDs, both “G2” and the forthcoming “Eclectic”.
