A female DJ/Producer Duo based in Barcelona, Spain. Both girls grew up in Russia but relocated to Europe at a young age. They started their musical journey in 2018 and are currently working on mastering it. The main genres that describes this duo are: house and tech house music but they do not like to put the labels on instead they like to put the records on :).

They played in different venues in Spain, Czech Republic, France and Russia. 
Despite the pandemic, they did not stop working and have released their first tracks on RIM, Barcelona-based label.

Going deep into the artist:

August Artier’s journey to his current home of Ibiza came after a youth growing up in the suburbs of Sydney, Australia in the 80’s & 90’s. His Italian parents took him on regularly trips back home and it was here that
he was exposed to the DJ talents of Leo Mas, Gemolotto and Fabrice and he soon developed a taste for vinyl collecting that endures to this day.

Fast forward to the end of the 90’s and this desire led the 19-year-old to move closer to a European house music sound, he had grown to love, moving to Italy in 1999. From his new base he continued to build his DJ skills and began making his own productions.

In terms of DJ shows club highlights include Space (Ibiza), Ambasada Gavioli (Slovenia),Il Muretto (Jesolo),Kit
Kat (Berlin), MiniClub (Valencia), Kingdom (Austin), Blinq Club (Amsterdam) & more. Festival highlights including Grape Festival (Slovakia), Meet me (Slovenia), Home (Italy).

2018 has seen another move, this time to Ibiza where he’s been able to consolidate his residency at the Ushuaia tower and indulge in his eclectic vinyl selections at picturesque locations like Hostal La Torre on the coast at Cap Negret.

Over the past few years his music has been signed to labels like Get Phyiscal, Kindisch, Baile, As Usual Berlin, Julia Niko’s Libe Vibe, Deeperfect, Samani and most recently working on the Kistetsu series for RAWAX with his good friend Mick Wilson.

4 EP’s with 4 tracks per EP dedicated to the 4 seasons. The Kisetsu series has been getting some great support from artists, DJ magazine and numerous premiers.

He also has been holding a 10 year Ibiza Global radio residency were his show “Underground Society” airs weekly from 00.00 to 01.00 on Saturday night

Gonzalo Fontan (aka 'Fontango') started as a DJ in 2016 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He became an electronic music lover, making great sunset of House and Deep Tech sessions winning a residency at La Mala disco till he went to Barcelona in 2019.

Once in the city at 24 years old, he started to work on his technique looking to earn a place in the music scene of the city. In 2020, during quarantine, he kept studying and practicing to get ready for the action, learning different genres in order to transmit his frenetic and danceable style adapted to the correct moment and place.
.
.
This year he made an important popularity increase after winning a place playing frequently in known local bars such as Mint Bar, The Coconut Club and Sotano Corp. Also he won a mix competition for Jackies Parties and as a result he ended up playing at Pacha Barcelona in July. In addition to this, he started his own parties known as Mela Suda that received important DJs on each edition winning a place on Barcelona`s electronic music scene.

BERENICE LLORENS!. Welcome on board!.

Going deeper into the artist:

Berenice Llorens, is a composer, DJ and producer from Córdoba. Argentina.
Her solo experimental electronic music project was launched in 2017 after several years of developing as a multi-instrumentalist in different bands of the local scene. Her search is based on composing and producing freely and intuitively frequencies outside of genre labels.

In her works she covers formats such as Dj sets, live sets, electronic music, improvisations and sound and audiovisual works where she mixes analog and digital techniques and instruments, processes, voices and field recordings. In her sets, she creates atmospheres that travel through techno, break and experimental with fast and intense pulses that invite you to dance in different states of mind.

She is part of the Amplify D.A.I program, the Vesica Piscis collective and she is currently composing her next EP as a result of Artlab Artistic Residencies.

The set she recorded for us, called: "Exorcise" a techno, breaks and experimental selection, including material and own tracks where the transitions between the different atmospheres and the play of sonorities invite a deep listening and incites a constant body movement.

Going deep into the artist:

His Sound, is a mix of Detroit Techno with percussive undertones of "House", mixing them up with ambient & dark atmospheres.
Van Sorgen’s trademark is the "environment", as an exploration between Natural and Industrial sites. He is an autodidacta guy who loves to experiment and research things that are fuel for him. In fact, he also loves to build D.i.Y Instruments with recycled materials amplified by "PiezoElectric '' to find his own sound. 

His Tracks are supported by big artists such as : Laurent Garnier, Adam Beyer, AFFKT , MAETRIK, Paco Osuna, Solomun , Antwon Faulkner, Nihil Young, Cedric Gervais, Gruw Frequency, DJ Bone, Greg Gow, Will Web among others.

In Sound Design , He has also collaborated with brands like Capcom, Microsoft, Paul Mitchell, Valentino Garavani and more.

For our #48 Graff Series episode we have an argentinean talented Dj, let us welcome to: ECLUD! Welcome on board to the fam!

Going deeper into the artist:

Born in Mendoza, Argentina. At the age of 25, she moved to Barcelona to start her music career as a DJ.
 
In the beginning of her carreer, she was known as Volk, playing melodic and progressive techno vinyls in Barcelona clubs such as: City Hall, M-7, Das-Klub event, and more… She collaborated with different collectives like Fancy Beats among others and she also had the opportunity to play twice in Ibiza Global Radio on José Maria Ramón's program called "LG2DCLUB".
 
In 2020, she created her brand called YUGO, a deep techno event that took part at DROME club (BCN) which could not continue due to the COVID pandemic.
 
After a 2-year reset, ECLUD was born. A new minimal romanian concept which had the opportunity to play records at the Macarena club (BCN), sharing booth with Cesar Vinzent and Isbel, Overart resident djs and whom she use to play very frequently on the white island: IBIZA.

She brought to us one hour mix, full of minimal and inspirational sounds, she have not loss the progressive line at all but, it is a really good combination to listen to, isnt it?.

Going deeper into the artist:

Matias Mendez Aka ENEM is an argentinian DJ and producer based in Barcelona.  His DJ career began in 2014 at Sónica electronic music school in Buenos Aires. After this, doors were opened to play music at underground events and parties in Buenos Aires.

In 2019 he landed in Barcelona, where he quickly started to play his music at 
well-known nightclubs such as: La macarena, La terrrazza, Cafe del mar, Pacha, Altos de Gracia, Sideral, Mad radio, Bla bla music, buena onda social club among many others sharing booth with big djs & producers.

At the same time, Enem has created a cycle of events called Sunet Curat, which gives a space to emerging djs of Barcelona underground scene. This cycle has 2 years of life and more than 50 artists have played at it. Nowadays, Sunet Curat is positioned as a cycle in constant or permanent growth.

The years as a clubber and Dj provides him a great versatility between current  and old times minimal/electro/ music always oriented to club vibes.

Going deeper into the artist:

His name is Benjamin Riderelli, his music career started at young age with intempestive energy. Once he got into drumming, he could never quit moving forward to everything that makes you tap your feet and shake your body.  

His first approach to live performances was playing long-non-stopping shows with a local band from Mar del plata called “Leitmotiv”, most of their shows were in sweaty basements and bars that could be compared to mouse hutches, but, like the flower from the swamp, that’s where he discovered electronic music.

After a couple of years, as he became older, he moved to another city where he started a band with some friends called “Peces Raros”, In no time, as a band (drums, guitars, bass and vocals) they were playing much more sophisticated techno than most of the local djs and caught up the attention of the national media and played in every nearly venue and festivals in Argentina. That moment was when his alter ego "Deep Mambo" was born, mostly to play as a dj at the band’s afterparties.

After a while, being suffocated by the demands of being in a rock band, he decided to quit and start a different life and a different way of expressing himself.

Attracted by the idea of being able to create a whole orchestra just with a couple of synthesizers  and a computer, he focused on producing his first 100% self made music in a small apartment in Buenos Aires downtown. After a couple of years and a pandemic lockdown of improving his skills as a producer and synth sound explorer, he decided to team up with Antonia Navarro, a Chilean multiphasic singer and composer to create Intona Rumore.

Intona Rumore is a live duo that combines obscure and experimental deep indie dance with a pop touch, their first album got out just a couple of weeks ago, and you can listen to it in most streaming platforms.

Now Benjamin Riderelli is gathering all of that experience in what has always been his passion. Music that tells a story. 

 Vynil mixing is his new proposal, and simple as it sounds, he’s decided to make something different out of it.

Let’s go deeper into the artist:

Rines is a Romanian-Dutch musician based in Berlin. 
Music has always been at the centre of her life, whether it is classical, jazz, or electronic. Because her love for music reaches beyond separate genres, her sets are eclectic in nature, filled with elements of all kind.

She has learned how to DJ in the Mandril, a non-profit cultural community in Maastricht. She quickly began playing in squats and venues around the city. Wanting to bring a change to the male-dominated commercial scene, she launched a female DJ collective together with two other artists in 2018 called “The Drink More Water” collective. Which quickly gained a following and became popular around the underground scene of Maastricht.

Next to playing in squats and local raves around Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany, RINES has also performed in venues such as Complex Maastricht, Mood Ring New York, Culteum Karlsruhe, and D59B Berlin.

This artist brought one hour mix with eclectic sounds that gonna make your headbobing, are you ready to listen to it?

Let’s go deeper into the artist:

Agustin aka Menta was born in Buenos Aires, where he grew up as a clubber.
He has been listening to many type of music genres for years. In 2019 he has migrated 6 months to Uruguay and was inspired by the Montevideo
electronic underground scene. Maldonado determined his vocation of playing music as DJ.

After two years in Argentina focused on the mixing, he relocated to Barcelona in June 2021 and started collecting records and performing at public and private events with lots of versatility and character on his sets.

MENTA`S unfiltered imprint can range from fine sets and easy arrival to the public, even very unusual sounds with some surprises. His biggest challenge is
to mix House, Techno and Electro as fluid as possible. He also has his B side, Downtempo, unwrapping rare grooves, trip hop and high-flying Dub.
