OVERVIEW

Well, it's been too long, that said, rest assured despite my online hibernation, I have continued to curate a lot of amazing new content in the past 9 months and am hoping to make this the first of a few new sets to get up and online.  I'm seeing a lot of amazing artists in the deep house, tech house and techno genres emerging in response to progressive becoming more of a mainstream genre. I still love my progressive and fit it into this set where I felt it was most appropriate. 

Last Call for Marshmallows is an energy driven, get up and dance kind of set, starting off with some dirty electro from Mr. Mord Fustang and then travelling along a road of deep house into a deeper techno realm, then quickly back into booty shaking with some twisted tech house.  As is usual with my style I don't like to stay in one genre for long and instead opt to try and express how well different genres can be fused and meshed into a cohesive and hopefully memorable experience.  So get your headphones on, or crank up your sound system because it's "Last Call for Marshmallows!"

Crystal Fighters - Cave Rave ((Album Sampler))

Born in Vancouver, British Columbia, Graham has been a DJ for over 10 years. He's played in clubs across Canada. Starting as a Drum & Bass DJ, playing in after hour venues in Kingston, Ontario, then moving into DJ'ing Progressive, Electro, Breaks, Tribal House, and Techno. His style can best be described as a fusion of genres blended together to make cohesive and meaningful experiences.


He blends and mixes between Progressive House, Tech House, Techno and Electro in any given set to add to the eb and flow a sets progression, "DJ sets are supposed to take you somewhere, and I like to do just that", says Graham, "they're meant to take you away from your every day life and lift you into a world where all in attendance are united by the rhythms, melodies and beats coursing through their bodies and their minds. They should take you to dark places, dirty places, places of euphoria and I find the best way to do that is to mesh styles, genres and techniques throughout a set".


Graham also produces his own tracks, and engineers his own music, he received an honours in sound engineering and music production in 2005 from the Harris Institute for the Arts and continues to produce tracks on a regular basis in a variety of styles.
