Spectrum boss Joris Voorn reworks Marsh's 2021 smash hit, 'Little Darling'.

An immaculate slice of progressive house that dropped as the world was in the depths of pandemic life, 'Little Darling' shined bright, due to its natural ebb and flow and arpeggiated chords, all backed by stately kicks and cheeky flips into breakbeat and tribal percussion. A firm favourite for so many, the track now feels primed and ready for a remix.

Replacing the breakbeats with a straight four-four, adding a growling bassline and bringing the original's trance-like melody to the fore, Joris does away with the original's slow-burn to create a fresh, euphoric and essential dancefloor moment.

that it became a long-term goal of mine to one day play on their car. A few years later, I got the invite, and I knew I had to come proper, so I prepped for months, making edits and reaching out to other artists for remixes that would fit the vibe.

All of these remixes were crafted specifically for my Burning Man set.. some of my biggest tracks reimagined and reborn in the desert.

After reflecting on the energy we felt that weekend, we wanted to share that experience with the world, to carry the magic of The Playa beyond its borders. On top of my special ‘crystallized’ playa rework, we tapped some of our favorite producers from within the community.. artists who live and breathe it’s ethos & whose sounds perfectly capture its beauty, grit, and radical expression
