Any place where we feel closer to the truth is also an emanation of Manjushree. But only when we free ourselves from the distinctions of outward appearances and the concepts of time and permanence, can we really be introduced to Manjushree. Understanding that phenomena appear but they have no intrinsic existence is the true nature of Manjushree and the essence of all the buddhas.

Hisolat is immensely proud to present Lulll, Sarah McCauley's debut album, a tranquil and restful series of hallowed meditative melodies and fervent compositions in which sound is fragmented or fused together, shifting between the mournful and balmy serenity before it decrescendos into pure quietness.

Sarah McCauley is a producer and composer who works with digital synthesis and recorded sound material to create shifting textural songs and longer compositions. Her debut album Lulll was made over several years between Ireland and Australia. Drawn to its characteristic glissandi and microtonal capabilities, this release is the result of her work with the ondes musicales which is gently reshaped alongside digital and recorded material in simple, circling and emotive pieces.

Music for vanished people was conceived as a series of improvisations 
that introduced different artists into our alchemical, asynchronous 
remote collaboration process, where time and space play almost no role. 
Each guest answered the call delving into the subject with his preferred 
instrument. 

The result is an album that explores both the dynamics of disappearing 
and the different emotions that vanishing evokes. 

From the multitude of individuals and families who lost their lives 
crossing the Mediterranean Sea to a whole population that apparently
imploded without leaving a trace, from persons who were forgotten to
those who simply disappeared, we travel between private and universal 
feelings of loss.
