Thomas The Tank Engine (Violin Cover)

Schindler's List is the original soundtrack, on the MCA label, of the 1993 film Schindler's List starring Liam Neeson, Ben Kingsley, Ralph Fiennes and Caroline Goodall. The original score and songs were composed by John Williams, and features violin player Itzhak Perlman.

A short string cover of this beautiful piece that I had always been longing to put together myself! Given that I now have a cello to play and practise with, my options of covers have dramatically expanded due to the fact that I can record as a 'string quartet' (one part at a time). For this track, I implemented some ambience and other sound effects to further immerse the listener into this world of the past. I hope you enjoy!

Also if you haven't seen the movie, I highly recommend it!

A mashup of Pendulum's 'The Island Pt. 1' and Porter Robinson's 'Unison'. Surprisingly, after pondering the idea and putting sections of the vocals from 'The Island' over 'Unison, the two fit together very well (admittedly with some adjustment and pitching).

Also, just to note that this is not meant for commercial purposes! Enjoy!

Had some fun with lo-fi inspired sounds for this track whilst also reversing a few piano/violin samples for that strange melody.

Mourn

First introduced to music through the violin at the age of 6-7, I have loved (nearly) every moment from starting out to where I am today, both playing and composing music (although they may vary from classical to electronic). 

My main producing software is FL Studio which I am far from mastering for those interested :D
