The EP tells the story of the Chernovbil nuclear disaster and its aftermaths on the near town of Pripyat (now a ghost city).

The special edition of 50 copies with deluxe artwork curated by italian photographers/sound artists Mount Fog and printed by independent publisher Aalphabet.

It features a hand-numbered, hi-quality offset print on 350gr Fedrigoni paper plus a folded poster with original photos that follow the music of the EP on this apocalyptic story telling.

"The basic idea was to build a mix from tracks I revisit a lot as a listener (building from the opening song of the mix). Though very few outside of Richmond, VA have ever seen me play drum and bass or music up at this tempo, this style was an absolutely crucial part of my development as an artist and dj. My first times truly digging through crates of records purely catering to electronic music were at a now closed record shop in Richmond specializing in dnb and house music. Ultimately, I felt like I gained a lot of important knowledge that I could’ve only gained in person by digging or through others in person - especially concerning music that was popular in clubs before I could ever go out to nightclubs. Some of this leans towards the music often called “atmospheric drum and bass” or the styles associated with Ltj bukem in the 90’s and early 2000’s. Other tracks fall more in the realm of record labels like Auxiliary, another sound I find myself enjoying immensely as a listener. 

Therefore, this is a mix made firstly by myself as a fan of drum and bass and higher tempos. It is the sort of mix I would put on for a long drive to enjoy, though it is not the sort of mix I have ever released before this."
