Kognitif - Another Jungle

Si l’on devait placer Yīn Yīn sur un carte, on pointerait une île imaginaire située quelque part entre les Pays-Bas et l’Asie du Sud-Est. Dans ce petit coin de paradis s’épanouit un cocktail de sonorités où s’associent grooves disco, rêveries « thaï beat », expérimentations synthétiques venues du Nord. Après plusieurs singles remarqués sur Les Disques Bongo Joe, le combo revient à la charge avec «The Rabbit That Hunts Tigers ». Ayant passé les derniers mois à mettre le feu aux scènes de la Vielle Europe, Yīn Yīn s’apprête à tout emporter avec ce premier album très attendu. Constellé de tubes planants et de grooves entêtants, ce disque pourrait être la bande son sixties d’un village insulaire de Mer de Chine méridionale. Prévu pour l’automne 2019, toujours sur Les Disques Bongo Joe, ce douze titres saura vous tenir chaud dans les mois frais. De quoi tourbillonner dans les feuilles mortes et repartir vers les contrées du soleil sans fin.
